Cache ([ˈkæʃ] or /kAsh/) is a bold, smooth, and untraditional typeface. The word itself, Cache, is both an explanation of its origin and one of its key traits. Cache, pronounced as 'cash' came through by working with a typeface created especially for ICA Stop, a specific grocery store in Stockholm, which is a part of ICA — Sweden's leading grocery retailer. Cache, on the other hand, also means a place for hiding or storing. And one of the traits of this typeface, the letters themselves are hidden in the typeface. The terminals are sharp, a clear contrast to the counters' smoothness. Its ascenders and descenders are short, inspired by typefaces from the 1920s, making it easier to use in longer headings. Cache is bold, leaving little space, meaning it figures as a display typeface.
